2023 CHAGRIN RELAYS
This is an ALL DAY MEET that is open to all independent swimmers. (Sorry- No Minnows- we are not permitted to have catchers in the water at this meet).

- These relays include swimmers of ALL AGES: so one relay may have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, a 10 year old and a 6 year old. In each relay, the swimmers' ages ages add up to certain totals so there are many levels of swimmers and competition. It keeps it exciting because the team with the lead changes throughout each event.
- Swimmers will arrive at the pool at around 7:30 am for warm ups
- Swimmers will swim 4-5 relay events
- The preliminary events usually end around 1 or 2pm
- We then have a break
- The top 8 teams from each event then come back around 4 to swim in finals
- Note: In previous years, usually all of our swimmers have made it back to finals in at least one event.swimmers have made it back to finals in at least one event. As the event approaches- we will get our exact warm up times for the morning and for finals.
- Signing up is a COMMITTMENT to swim in this meet. Once the relays are submitted, we cannot make any changes. Please make sure you can attend before signing up!
- Swimmers who sign up MUST BE AVAILABLE TO RETURN FOR FINALS. We are not allowed to make substitutions for finals. If all swimmers cannot return, the whole relay team cannot swim in finals.
- This may seem like a big commitment, but is a favorite meet among the swimmers and coaches who have attended. Swimmers will relax under tents and hang out together in between events. It's a great time for team bonding!
- DEADLINE to sign up is Midnight on Sunday, July 2
